The Story of Vince's Truck - Saturday, May 24th, 2014
On December 9, 1999 there was a helicopter crash off the coast of California. Vince Sabasteanski
was one of the Marines killed in the crash. Vince left behind his wife, Julie, his son, Nick,
and a 1997 Dodge Ram pickup truck. Since then, Nick Taxiarchis, a fellow Marine and childhood
friend, has looked after the truck.
Our mission for the 2nd Annual Support S.O.F. motorcycle ride is to have the truck shipped to Kansas City for a complete overhaul and a surprise presentation to Vince's son.
